Calling All Saints

The gospel is so simple that a child could understand it. So, why then is it so complicated for many? That is because The Truth is still being rejected today. Why? It is because we love our sin. It is because we do not want to come to The Light and The Life or else our wicked deeds will be rebuked. We want to justify our sins instead of turn away from them. Not all of us, but all too many.

Christians, we are called to “life abundant.” We are not called to sin abundant and then calling that sinful life living. If we do sin, we have an “advocate with the Father.” None are without sin. However, we should not settle for any sin. Why? Because God hates sin. We cannot love our sin and love God. At the very least, we should hate that we love our sin. “We cannot serve God and mammon.”

For example, we might love over eating or eating food that kills us. We should hate that we love that and trust that Jesus will turn us away overtime. As we seek the Lord, the love of Jesus will devour our love for death. As the Holy Spirit works in us, we are graciously given power to turn aside from all unrighteousness. It is for our good and for His glory.

We are promised freedom from all sin by the power of the Resurrection. Yet, we do not ever claim to be without sin because we yet live in the flesh. This is an onward and upward lifelong pursuit. It is the purpose of our existence in this present age. Do we love our birthright? Or are we like Esau who rejected the birthright?

Are we not Israel? Are we not Jerusalem? Many are focused on what’s happening in the Jerusalem of this world. We ARE Jerusalem! We are as the Revelation 12 woman. I cannot say we are explicitly, because I cannot say for certain what time we are in. However, we should all labor in travail until Christ is brought forth IN US! We should all “conform to the image of Christ.”

Things do not happen according to our ways or what we expect. We need to seek the wisdom of God.

We need to stop looking at this world and look inward to our own selves. The antichrist will come to the earthly Jerusalem before the Lord does. Are we the Bride of Christ or are we the Great Whore Jerusalem of Babylon? A time will come when a clear distinction is drawn between the two. The Lord’s Day will reveal it.

The gospel is simple. Jesus sacrificed himself (God sacrificed His Son also) so that many sons of God would be forgiven and turned away from iniquity. We are caretakers of this world. Jesus wants us to be fruitful so that God is known in this world.“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Do we even know what this scripture we so often quote (out of context) means?

To be fruitful means to love as Jesus loves. Are we doing this? No. By and large we are not. There will come “a day of vengeance of our God.” He will “destroy those who destroy the earth.” He will judge Christians in name only who pervert the sacrifice of the Son, twisting Jesus into a minister of sin instead of a the minster of the New Covenant.

Do not “make your covenant with death.” Sin is death. Jesus is power of life unto life everlasting.

Christians, do not reject your God. If you hate your sin, rejoice in these promises! This is not a heavy burden. It is freedom from heavy burden. This is the every-day Sabbath! The Son heals the broken hearted. He binds up wounds that lead to sinful mindsets of destruction. He frees us from the prisons of this world — even those we have created for ourselves. This is good news, friends. “Awake to righteousness and sin not.” We have that power in Jesus Christ. We should be thus minded.

We are the ministry and calling of the saints. “The whole earth groans in travail” until we are formed. Why? Because we are lights. We are life. We are the love of the Son. The world will reject us as the scriptures have said. However, if we are those who bring life, if we believe in the resurrection, we too will be raised. If we wantonly bring death and destruction, it does not matter if we call ourselves Christians. We will return to ash before the feet of our God.

The gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of life. Those who love sin do not know life. They do not know The Truth. All it takes very often is to have this declared to you, then you are as one who wakes from a deep sleep. Christians, we are being called out of sleep. Can you hear it? Shout it! Praise the Lord! Preach the Gospel of the kingdom of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Live it!

If you have questions, email me. I don’t have all the answers but I have a few. We are a body in union with Christ. If one is sick we are all sick. We must come together, pray for each other, and lay hold of the promises of salvation. I certainly need prayers. God has lit a fire under my backside to get this work done. I’m worn out and some days barely going. I’m also very happy, thankful, and eager to see the Lord’s kingdom come someday.

This is a group effort. Those who lord themselves over you or act as if they are something greater than you are liars. Beware of wolves who come to you in sheep’s clothing. “Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles?” Beware of these “ministers of righteousness” whose “light is darkness.”

If this speaks to you, all I ask is you consider it. Open your bible and pray that the evident truth is shown to you. It is worth investigating for yourself. I’m not always the best at citing scriptures, but I do try to draw attention to those often overlooked, and I often “quote the bible'” because The Word is in me, and he is in you too if you believe on him. Look these up for yourself if my approach is a stumbling block for you. I expect the “wise and prudent” to ignore the likes of me.

Please share this little known blog with others if you are in agreement, and then go out there and do your part to bring life into this world. We have to.

These are the things that ye shall do: Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things I hate, saith the Lord.  — Zechariah 8:16-17
