Kindling Truth aims to search out the truths pertaining to salvation offered by Jesus Christ while providing encouragement in applying His teachings to daily life. As Christians, we should seek Jesus in all things with faith in the promises He gave to us – that we can live a life free from sin by the power of the Holy Spirit in us – so we can be effective for the kingdom of heaven, both now as the kingdom reigns in our hearts, and in the future when His kingdom comes to rule this earth.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. — John 8:36
Does the world leave you broken and confused? None of us have all the answers, but there is some measure of truth we can obtain through Jesus. He has set before us a straight and narrow path, that by Him we might find lasting freedom from the darkness in this present world and the all-consuming depths of eternal death.
Instead of standing by the understanding that “narrow is the way and few there be that find it,” modern Christianity, along with the many other man-made traditions, seems to take a much broader approach. This is about praising the Lord Jesus and leaning on Him as He shows us how to walk in His ways rather than conforming to this world and its traditions of confusion and darkness.
This is about Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and the amazing gift and promise that is given to those who are called according to His purposes.
If you find yourself lost and unsure of what is real, feel that something is off about churches today, or just want to discover enough truth to find some measure of peace in a world that often seems riddled with chaos and destruction, then join me as we learn and grow in Christ together – kindling flames of truth that will devour the darkness in our lives and light the narrow path of life.
Why Is Jesus the only way to God?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. — John 14:6
