Thank You…

This is going to sound strange, but I want to say thank you to someone out there who was praying for me this morning. You were heard, and the Lord Jesus is good!

Over the past few weeks, I had been in a state of discouragement, as I am prone to, regarding some stubborn struggles with sin that I have. I’ve felt very defeated lately and extremely unworthy of having been given any measure of understanding of the gospel at all. I tend to feel this risk of being one choked by the cares of this life or one who buries their talent.

It’s a strange thing, and I’ve not experienced anything like this before. I was simply working away at my computer. The usual things.

Anyway, I don’t know who prayed or what the prayer was, but I felt it today. In the midst of working, this strange thing happened and I can’t find words to describe it. Like an audible force came upon me, and I had the thought of the scripture when Jesus said “woman, thou art loosed.” I was stunned and asked the Lord why, and I realized that someone had been praying for me.

So, as weird as this post is, I want to write it! Jesus is good and He hears our prayers! Pray for one another fervently, because you never know what incredible things the Lord is up to in strengthening the body of Christ!
